World Liberty Financial (WLFI) trades near $0.057 in mid-October 2026, about 83% below the $0.331 all-time high it printed on its first day of trading in September 2025. WLFI is the governance token of World Liberty Financial, a crypto venture co-founded in 2024 by members of the Trump family and the Witkoff family that also issues the USD1 stablecoin. Holders vote on protocol proposals, but under the project’s gold paper the token carries no equity and no right to the company’s fees or profits. This page sets out PrimeXBT’s WLFI price outlook through 2030 and to 2050, the levels that have boxed the token in since June, and the supply and legal events that could break that box. One feature stands out: since June the token has been no more volatile than Bitcoin, a calm unusual in its short history.
World Liberty Financial outlook at a glance
- 2026 base case: $0.048–$0.063 for the rest of the year, with the monthly average easing to about $0.055 by December.
- Main bullish catalyst: progress toward a final OCC charter for World Liberty Trust Company, which would move USD1 issuance in-house and give the ecosystem a regulated base.
- Biggest downside risk: a break below the September low near $0.048 while the Fed keeps tightening, with vested insider tokens due to start unlocking from May 2028.
- Long-term view: a slow climb toward $0.08 by 2029–2030, still far from the 2025 peak, with every figure after that readable only as a direction.

World Liberty Financial price prediction 2026–2030 (yearly forecast)
PrimeXBT’s World Liberty Financial forecast for 2026–2030 keeps the yearly average between about $0.056 and $0.083, with the stronger years placed after the vesting cliff passes in 2028. Each yearly row is built from the monthly path in the sections below: the minimum is the lowest monthly floor of that year, the maximum the highest monthly ceiling.
| Year | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | $0.0478 | $0.0559 | $0.0625 |
| 2027 | $0.0442 | $0.0609 | $0.0848 |
| 2028 | $0.0419 | $0.0689 | $0.1051 |
| 2029 | $0.0459 | $0.0822 | $0.1190 |
| 2030 | $0.0492 | $0.0831 | $0.1183 |
The outlook sits well below most published models for 2028–2030. Two facts drive that choice: about two-thirds of the 100 billion maximum supply is still locked, and the first vested releases from those locked allocations can begin in May 2028.
World Liberty Financial price prediction 2026
PrimeXBT’s WLFI price prediction for 2026 places the token between about $0.048 and $0.063 for the remaining months, with an average near $0.056. That is roughly the range WLFI has traded in since June, and the outlook assumes the box holds through the two remaining Fed meetings of the year.
| Month (2026) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| October | $0.0511 | $0.0568 | $0.0625 |

World Liberty Financial price prediction 2027
2027 brings a slow recovery in the outlook, from about $0.056 in January to roughly $0.065 by December, for a full-year range of $0.044–$0.085 and an average near $0.061. No large unlock is scheduled in the year, so the path depends on USD1 growth and on how the court case with Justin Sun develops.

World Liberty Financial price prediction 2028
The WLFI forecast for 2028 runs from about $0.042 to $0.105, averaging near $0.069. The band is the widest yet because the two-year cliff on the vesting plan approved in May 2026 ends around May 2028, after which insider and early-supporter tokens start reaching the market in monthly portions.
| Month (2028) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|

World Liberty Financial price prediction 2029
2029 holds the high point of the outlook, with the monthly average peaking near $0.085 in July and a yearly range of about $0.046–$0.119. The assumption is that the market has absorbed the first vesting releases by then and that USD1 has kept its place among the larger dollar stablecoins.
| Month (2029) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $0.0459 | $0.0765 | $0.1071 |

World Liberty Financial price prediction 2030
The 2030 outlook spans roughly $0.049–$0.118, averaging near $0.083, a flat year after the 2029 high. A forecast for a token with barely a year of history carries little weight this far out, so the monthly path below shows a direction more than a set of dated targets.
| Month (2030) | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $0.0501 | $0.0835 | $0.1169 |
| February | $0.0500 | $0.0833 | $0.1166 |
| March | $0.0498 | $0.0830 | $0.1162 |

World Liberty Financial long-term price prediction: 2035, 2040–2050
WLFI has existed as a tradable token since September 2025, and its value rests on decisions by one company, its regulators and the courts. A 2050 figure cannot price any of that with confidence. The long-range path below grows slowly from the 2030 level and should be read as an order of magnitude, not a target.
| Year | Minimum | Average | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2035 | $0.0586 | $0.0976 | $0.1366 |
| 2040 | $0.0679 | $0.1131 | $0.1584 |
| 2050 | $0.0828 | $0.1379 | $0.1931 |
What analysts and models say (compared)
No bank, fund or named research house has published a WLFI price target that could be found for this review, so the comparison rests on algorithmic forecast sites, and they disagree by a factor of ten. For 2029, CoinDataFlow projects an average of about $0.33 and PricePrediction.net about $0.60, while CryptoPredictions.com sees $0.084 for December 2029. WalletInvestor’s one-year model points the other way, to about $0.016.
| Source | Method | WLFI view |
|---|---|---|
| CoinDataFlow (Oct 18, 2026) | Algorithmic | 2026: $0.035–$0.056; 2027 avg ~$0.063; 2030 avg ~$0.241 |
| PricePrediction.net (Oct 18, 2026) | Algorithmic | 2027 avg ~$0.092; 2028 avg ~$0.217; 2030 avg ~$0.260 |
| CryptoPredictions.com (Oct 18, 2026) | Algorithmic | Dec 2026 avg ~$0.073; Dec 2030 avg ~$0.095 |
| WalletInvestor (Oct 18, 2026) | Algorithmic | 1-year: ~$0.016 (range $0.023–$0.073) |
| DappRadar (Aug 4, 2026) | Algorithmic | 1-year: ~$0.045 |
Some of these models are internally inconsistent. PricePrediction.net’s 2026 card shows $0.20–$0.28 while its own October 2026 row sits at $0.051–$0.076, and CoinDataFlow’s path jumps from a $0.108 average in 2028 to $0.332 in 2029 before falling again. None of the sites models the vesting schedule, which is the main reason PrimeXBT’s outlook sits below their 2028–2030 figures.

World Liberty Financial technical analysis
As of October 18, 2026, WLFI trades just above its 50-day simple moving average of about $0.0567 and below its 200-day average near $0.0617, which is still falling. The 14-day RSI reads about 51, neutral. The 20-, 50- and 100-day averages all sit within a fraction of a cent of each other, a sign of a market that has stopped trending rather than one building momentum.
The range is tight. Since June, every daily close has landed between $0.051 and $0.063, and 90-day realised volatility has dropped to about 38% a year, level with Bitcoin’s. First support is the October low near $0.053, then the August closing low at $0.051 and the all-time low of $0.048 set on September 11. Resistance starts at $0.058, the level that capped the October rebound, then the 200-day average near $0.062 and the August 22 spike high near $0.073. A daily close above the 200-day average would be the first break of the downtrend that started at launch.
World Liberty Financial correlation with other assets
WLFI’s price has drifted away from Bitcoin’s. Over the past year its weekly returns have shown only a loose positive link with Bitcoin and Ethereum and a similar one with the Official Trump token, while the link with the Nasdaq, gold and the US dollar index has been close to zero.
Company news has set the larger moves. WLFI fell about 13% in a day when the vesting vote opened in late April, and its sharpest move since June, an intraday spike to about $0.073 on August 22, came eight days after the OCC charter decision. If that news flow quiets, the token could start trading again like an ordinary large-cap altcoin, with Bitcoin setting the direction.
Fundamental factors
WLFI has a fixed maximum supply of 100 billion tokens. CoinGecko counts about 31.8 billion in circulation, worth about $1.8 billion at mid-October prices; other trackers count circulation differently, so market capitalisation figures vary by source. About a quarter of the supply became tradable when WLFI listed in September 2025, when early supporters received 20% of their tokens.
Supply rules changed in 2026. A governance vote approved in early May let holders of about 62 billion locked tokens swap an indefinite lock for a fixed schedule: insiders who opt in burn 10% of their allocation and then vest over three years after a two-year cliff, while early supporters vest over two years after a two-year cliff. Holders who decline stay locked. On May 19, six founder wallets moved their tokens into the vesting contract, so the earliest sales from those allocations fall in May 2028. Separately, holders approved a plan in September 2025 to spend fees from the project’s own liquidity positions on buying back and burning WLFI; public records of completed burns could not be confirmed for this review.
USD1 is the ecosystem’s main product. Its market capitalisation stood near $4.0 billion in mid-October, down from about $4.8 billion in late June, per CoinGecko data. On August 14, 2026, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency granted World Liberty Trust Company preliminary conditional approval for a national trust bank charter, which would let it issue and hold USD1 reserves itself instead of through BitGo. The charter does not allow insured deposits or lending, and final approval is still pending.
Governance and legal questions weigh on the token. In April 2026 the project borrowed about $75 million in stablecoins against 5 billion of its own WLFI on the Dolomite lending protocol. The same month Justin Sun sued World Liberty Financial in the Northern District of California, alleging the company froze his tokens; the company denies the claims and has filed a defamation suit against him in Florida. On August 20 a federal judge kept Sun’s personal claims in court rather than sending them to arbitration, a procedural ruling that does not decide the merits. Democratic lawmakers, including Senator Elizabeth Warren, have also challenged the bank charter on conflict-of-interest grounds, and the OCC has said career staff assessed the application.
Upcoming catalysts
Only confirmed, dated events are listed. Macro dates come first because WLFI’s own calendar has few fixed points before 2028.
| Date | Event | Potential impact |
|---|---|---|
| October 27–28, 2026 | FOMC meeting | A second hike after September’s would weigh on risk appetite across crypto |
| December 8–9, 2026 | FOMC meeting (with economic projections) | Sets the rate path markets carry into 2027 |
| Date not set | Final OCC approval for World Liberty Trust Company | Would bring USD1 issuance and custody in-house; no timeline has been published |
| Date not set | Next rulings in Sun v. World Liberty Financial | Could affect how the project can freeze or restrict tokens |
| From May 2028 | End of the two-year cliff on vested insider and early-supporter tokens | New supply starts entering the market in monthly portions |
FOMC dates follow the Federal Reserve’s published 2026 schedule. The Fed raised the federal funds target range by 0.25 percentage points to 3.75%–4% on September 16, 2026, as covered in PrimeXBT’s Fed decision review.
Bull case vs bear case
Bull case:
- The OCC grants the final trust charter and USD1 regains the supply it lost after June.
- The project starts executing the buyback-and-burn plan approved in 2025 while no new vested supply arrives before 2028.
- The Sun lawsuit is resolved or dismissed, removing a source of headline risk.
- Crypto risk appetite returns once the Fed stops raising rates.
Bear case:
- The Fed hikes again in October or December and pulls money out of altcoins.
- Court findings or new disclosures raise further questions about the project’s control over holders’ tokens.
- The charter stalls at the conditional stage and USD1 supply keeps shrinking.
- Markets start pricing the 2028 vesting releases early.
Invalidation levels. The bull case loses its footing on a daily close below $0.048, the all-time low from September 11, which would leave no trading history underneath. The bear case is invalidated on a sustained move above the 200-day average near $0.062 and then the August spike high near $0.073, about 28% above the mid-October price.
Historical performance
WLFI opened for trading on September 1, 2025 and set its record high of $0.331 that day. It closed 2025 about 39% below its first daily close, then lost another 60% in 2026 through mid-October, with the steepest monthly drop, about 38%, in April. Since June the decline has flattened into a sideways range, the longest calm stretch in the token’s short history.
Is World Liberty Financial a good investment in 2026?
WLFI is a governance token: holders vote on proposals, which the co-founders can screen, but the token gives no equity in World Liberty Financial and no share of its fees or profits. Its price has fallen about 83% from the launch-day high, two-thirds of supply remains locked, and the project faces an open federal lawsuit and a bank charter that is still conditional. PrimeXBT’s outlook sees the token roughly flat into the end of 2026. Whether those facts fit any particular strategy is a question for each reader’s own analysis and risk tolerance; this page does not offer a recommendation.
How to trade World Liberty Financial on PrimeXBT
PrimeXBT lists World Liberty Financial as a WLFI/USDT contract in its crypto futures section. A perpetual futures contract tracks the token’s price without delivering the token, so a trader can open a long position to profit from a rise or a short position to profit from a fall, but does not hold any WLFI or gain voting rights.
Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike. A quiet range like WLFI’s since June can end abruptly on a single court filing or governance post, so position size and a stop-loss matter more than the direction of any forecast. Trade on your own analysis and within your own risk limits, and never risk more than you can afford to lose.
Trading involves risk.
How we build this forecast
PrimeXBT’s analysts build this outlook from WLFI’s own trading history, not from a single price feed. We read the token’s position against its 50- and 200-day averages and the range it has held since June, map the supply calendar created by the 2026 vesting vote, and weigh the USD1 business, the bank charter and the litigation against the Fed’s rate path. The monthly ranges come from that mix; the bands widen with time because a token with one year of history gives a model little to work with.
The figures are estimates, not commitments. A court ruling or a governance change can reprice WLFI overnight, and we revise the outlook every month as the facts change.
How much will World Liberty Financial be worth in 2026?
PrimeXBT's outlook places WLFI between about $0.048 and $0.063 for the rest of 2026, with an average near $0.056 and a December average around $0.055. The range assumes the token stays in the band it has traded in since June.
How much will WLFI be worth in 2030?
The 2030 outlook spans about $0.049 to $0.118, with an average near $0.083. It assumes the market has absorbed the first vesting releases that begin in 2028 and that the USD1 stablecoin business keeps growing.
What will WLFI be worth in five years?
Five years out, the outlook points to the 2030 band of roughly $0.049 to $0.118. A token that has traded for about a year gives any model little history to work with, so the figure shows a direction rather than a target.
Can WLFI reach $1?
Not in PrimeXBT's outlook. No year through 2050 has a maximum above about $0.19. Returning even to the $0.331 launch-day high would take a rise of roughly six times from mid-October 2026 levels.
Is World Liberty Financial a good investment in 2026?
PrimeXBT does not give investment recommendations. The relevant facts are that WLFI is a governance token with no equity or fee rights, it trades about 83% below its launch-day high, about two-thirds of its supply is still locked, and the project faces an open federal lawsuit and a bank charter that is only conditionally approved. Any decision depends on a person's own analysis and risk tolerance.
What will the WLFI price be tomorrow?
This page is updated monthly and does not publish daily forecasts. The live chart shows the current price. For the near term, the October low near $0.053 is first support and $0.058 is the first resistance.
When do locked WLFI tokens unlock?
Under the vesting plan approved in May 2026, insiders and early supporters who opted in face a two-year cliff, so the earliest releases from those allocations begin around May 2028. Insiders then vest over three years and early supporters over two. Holders who did not opt in remain locked indefinitely.
