Tokenized stocks now represent a $3.6 billion market across 4,555 assets, and the past week's growth splits sharply along two lines. Avalanche pulled in the biggest new capital, while Solana added the most new holders, pointing to two different adoption paths for onchain equities.
Avalanche topped blockchain rankings with $131.2 million in new tokenized-stock value over the past seven days, according to the RWA Foundation. Yet Avalanche barely registered among networks gaining new holders. Instead, Solana added 123,500 tokenized-stock holders, suggesting institutional capital and retail adoption are increasingly moving through different rails.
Avalanche captures the institutional money
Blackrock-backed Securitize's SECZ token added $132 million in market capitalization, almost 10 times more than the next-largest tokenized stock. That single move drove most of Avalanche's weekly gain. xStocks ranked a distant second with $17.5 million in issuer-level growth.
SpaceX exposure also stayed popular: Binance's SPCXb added $13.3 million, while xStocks' SPCXx gained $3.6 million. Tokenized products tied to Strategy, the bitcoin treasury company, added another $22.6 million across Binance and xStocks. SECZ did not appear among the leading assets for new holders, though, which suggests its growth came from a relatively small group of large investors rather than a broad retail rush.
Solana and Robinhood win the retail race
The holder data tells almost the opposite story. Solana's 123,500 new tokenized-stock holders came largely through xStocks and Backpack. Robinhood Chain added 83,200 new holders and BNB Chain added 23,200. At the issuer level, Robinhood led with 83,200 new holders, narrowly ahead of xStocks at 73,400 and Backpack at 44,100.
Zooming out to overall market share, BNB Chain still leads with about $1.1 billion in tokenized stocks, per Token Terminal data, while Ethereum ranks second at $773 million, Solana follows close behind at $723 million, and Avalanche sits a distant fourth with about $428 million.
$20.9 billion moved through DEXs
Trading activity is scaling even faster than holder counts. Decentralized exchanges processed $20.9 billion of tokenized-stock volume over the past 30 days. Uniswap v4 captured a 40.7% market share and Uniswap v3 added another 19.4%, together accounting for roughly $12.6 billion.
The $3.6 billion tokenized-stock market is still tiny next to global equities. But the emerging split between institutional capital, retail adoption, and rising onchain turnover suggests it is no longer developing as one market.
