U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs took in $526.6 million on Monday, their largest daily net inflow in nearly a month. BlackRock's IBIT supplied all of it, while Fidelity's and Grayscale's funds lost money. Ether funds, meanwhile, recorded a fourth straight session of outflows.
U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs attracted $526.6 million on Monday, and BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drove the entire total. It was the largest daily net inflow in nearly a month for the spot bitcoin ETF group.
IBIT carries the day
IBIT pulled in $665.2 million, its biggest daily inflow since Oct. 7 last year, according to SoSoValue data. The bitcoin funds last drew more on Sept. 22, when they added $714.7 million.
Other issuers moved the other way. Fidelity's FBTC lost $83.6 million, and Grayscale's GBTC shed $54.9 million. The remaining funds recorded no net flows, which underscores how concentrated the buying was.
October remains negative
The inflow more than erased last week's $228.5 million of withdrawals. Even so, the funds remain about $90.5 million in the red for October, according to CoinDesk calculations using SoSoValue's figures.
Ether funds lose ground
Ether funds moved in the opposite direction. They lost $103.3 million in a fourth consecutive session of outflows, and BlackRock's ETHA accounted for $95.4 million of the withdrawals, according to SoSoValue.
