Lido's DAO treasury revenue jumped to $605,320 for the UTC day of Oct. 30, driven by a windfall in Ethereum execution-layer rewards. The next daily report delivered a much smaller treasury payment, so the windfall did not repeat at the same scale.
Lido's DAO treasury revenue jumped to $605,320 for the UTC day of Oct. 30, about 6.4 times its preceding seven-day median. A windfall in Ethereum execution-layer rewards boosted staking-fee income, according to DefiLlama data and onchain records cited by The Defiant.
Treasury payment spikes, then shrinks
The daily accounting transaction of the liquid-staking protocol distributed 269.69 stETH to the DAO treasury from 444.08 stETH minted as staking fees. However, the next daily report, on Oct. 31, delivered just 57.59 stETH to the treasury.
The Defiant's calculation puts Oct. 30 revenue 540.1% above the $94,564 median for Oct. 23–29. Daily readings in the preceding 30 days ranged from $90,264 to $116,967.
What the revenue figure covers
The increase added assets to the DAO's treasury rather than directly paying LDO holders. DefiLlama defines this revenue as the treasury's portion of Lido's 10% fee on staking rewards, excluding the node operators' share. It is not net income, and the provider separately reported zero holder revenue for its latest 24-hour window.
The Oct. 30 transaction brought 3,794.86 ETH from Lido's execution-layer rewards vault into the staking pool. These rewards include priority fees and MEV, which are payments associated with ordering and including transactions in Ethereum blocks.
The Oct. 31 accounting report, recorded at 8:23 a.m. ET, recognized 302.36 ETH in execution-layer rewards alongside the smaller treasury payment. That compares successive daily reports and is not a completed Oct. 31 dollar-revenue total, because DefiLlama's daily revenue series still ended on Oct. 30 when retrieved.
