Elon Musk and Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan pushed back Wednesday against speculation that Intel won't have a starring role in the Terafab chip-making project, the trillionaire's chip-making venture.
Tan told Bloomberg ahead of an event in Tokyo that the company's involvement in Terafab will continue. Musk, for his part, responded on his X account to a post that had raised the possibility of TSMC taking a bigger part in the plant.
Shares of Intel fell 3.18% in Wednesday stock market trading, while Taiwan Semiconductor shares slipped 0.72%.
