OPEC+ is likely to leave its December oil production targets unchanged at a Sunday meeting, according to three people with knowledge of the matter. The group is shifting its attention to 2027 quota negotiations.
OPEC+ oil-producing countries are likely to keep their production targets steady for December when they meet on Sunday, three people with knowledge of the matter told Reuters. The producer group is turning its focus to 2027 quota negotiations.
However, the sources said no final decision had been made, and all three declined to be named. OPEC and authorities in Russia did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The online meeting brings together seven core OPEC+ members: Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan and Oman.
It comes as Gulf members boost exports that have been disrupted for months by the Iran war. Most of them are still pumping well below their output targets.
