Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD has surpassed 2.52 billion tokens in total supply, with its market capitalization now matching its fully diluted valuation. The milestone comes alongside a sharp jump in daily trading volume and a growing holder base within just about two years of launch.
RLUSD has surpassed a total supply of 2,520,234,035.02 tokens, according to data from CoinMarketCap cited by U.Today. The figure marks a substantial increase from the stablecoin's supply level a month earlier.
Ripple launched RLUSD in late 2024, and the token has since become one of the fastest-growing stablecoins in the crypto sector. Demand for the asset has stayed consistent since its debut, pushing its circulating supply steadily higher.
The stablecoin's market capitalization has reached $2,520,303,254.33, a level that matches its fully diluted valuation. Meanwhile, RLUSD's 24-hour trading volume reached $253.5 million as of September 30, a jump of 22.72% over the previous day.
Holder participation has expanded alongside the supply growth. The stablecoin now counts more than 12,650 holders within just about two years of its launch, as sentiment across the crypto market turns more positive.
