Webull plans to offer Bitcoin and other crypto perpetual futures to eligible US customers in November, using Kalshi as the exchange and clearing venue. The broker has not disclosed leverage or fees, and it warns that positions can be liquidated automatically.
Webull plans to begin offering perpetual futures to eligible US customers in November, starting with Bitcoin and selected other crypto assets. The broker expects broader availability before year-end, although it has not announced a specific launch day.
Customers approved for futures trading will use their existing Webull Futures accounts to reach the contracts. Crypto Briefing reports that Webull wants to put the product in front of more than 6 million clients.
Kalshi lists and clears the contracts
The contracts will be listed on KalshiEX, a designated contract market regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Kalshi Klear, its regulated clearing organisation, will clear them, while Webull Futures provides brokerage access.
Kalshi received CFTC approval for its Bitcoin perpetual futures contract in May 2026. Webull's rollout therefore adds a brokerage distribution channel, with Kalshi supplying the exchange and clearing infrastructure.
Funding payments and liquidation rules apply
Perpetual futures have no fixed expiry date, so traders do not need to roll positions into replacement contracts. However, holding a position involves periodic funding payments. Webull warns that positions can be automatically liquidated if margin falls below maintenance requirements.
Leverage and fees remain undisclosed. The company also states that futures accounts are not protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC).
Anthony Denier, Webull's Group President and US CEO, said global perpetual futures trading volume exceeded $90 trillion in 2025.
Kalshi widens its perpetual lineup
On 6 October, Kalshi launched a perpetual contract that references the MerQube US Large Cap Index and covers the 500 largest US-listed and US-domiciled companies. Webull has confirmed cryptocurrency contracts for the initial rollout, but it has not said whether Kalshi's US 500 contract will be available through the broker.
