XRP whale deposits to Binance reached their highest level since March, but inflows have since returned to more typical levels. XRP trades near $1.32 and remains below a key descending trendline. Analysts say the next moves depend on whale flows, price levels and trading volume.
Whales sent a monthly average of $112.4 million in XRP to Binance, the highest reading since March, according to analyst Darkfost. That compares with a roughly $90 million average over the past three months.
However, inflows have since returned to more typical levels. XRP now trades at $1.32, down 4.41% in 24 hours and up 2.66% over seven days, with trading volume at $1.71 billion.
Whales cash in on the rebound
Darkfost defines whales as transactions above 1 million XRP. Since August, their monthly average Binance inflows have climbed by $72 million, and daily spikes have topped $400 million.
The timing stands out because XRP has rebounded more than 30% since August. Coins moved to an exchange can be sold quickly, so rising inflows point to intent to sell, not confirmed selling. The source calls that reading interpretation, not verified fact.
XRP stalls below a descending trendline
On the 4-hour chart, analyst CryptoBusy says XRP is testing a major descending resistance trendline. The token recovered from $1.26 toward $1.40, briefly broke above the line, then slipped back toward $1.34, with rejection near $1.37.
The data shows two events, not a proven cause. Nobody can say from these figures that whale deposits drove the rejection.
The bullish case is not dead
Darkfost notes that the September peak sits well below the one seen in August. If so, the wave of whale supply has already passed. Price has also held above the $1.26 rebound low so far.
CryptoBusy points to a confirmed breakout above $1.38 to $1.40 as the trigger, which could open a path toward $1.45 to $1.50. Those are the analyst's levels, not forecasts. The same analyst says the broader downtrend stays intact until resistance breaks and holds.
What to watch next
A renewed climb above the $112.4 million average in whale inflows would revive selling concerns, and Darkfost warns the situation can change quickly. CryptoBusy says losing the $1.33 level could push XRP toward $1.30 and then $1.26.
Trading volume also matters, because breakouts on thin volume deserve skepticism. The question is whether the $1.71 billion daily figure holds.
